Reopened in April 2026 by independent owners. Survey is needed. Believed to serve traditional pub lunches and Chinese cuisine. Opening times and beer range unknown at present.

On entering through the main door on the left is the main lounge (locally known as ‘the Top Bar’) and a smaller lounge adjacent to the restaurant to the right, (known as the ‘Bottom bar’). The main lounge has a real fire and offers a warm welcome. Campsite next to the pub.

Historic Interest

Parts of the pub date back to 15th century when it was a farmhouse. In the 17th century it became a coaching inn. Owned and operated by Robinsons Brewery until the end of 2024.
