A very friendly, wet-lead, old-fashioned drinking establishment this pub is an historical gem. Situated to the west of the town centre this pub is a real survivor with pub fixtures and fittings providing character of a previous era. Inclined Plane from nearby Langton Brewery on hand-pull with at least two regularly changing guest ales. A warm and friendly atmosphere all year-round.

Having a large wide screen television the pub can be extremely busy when rugby and football tournaments are in progress.
