Set on the main road through this busy Leicestershire village, well served by train and bus, the Bull has a large bar area with a real fire, plenty of seating and a pool table. The is also a seperate good sized lounge for quieter drinking. There is a good sized car park, outdoor seating area and a function room that regularly holds live music. In the 1950s the pub was run by Olga Healy; a plaque outside commemorates the time her brother, Stan Laurel, stayed in the pub with Oliver Hardy while playing in Nottingham on a UK tour. The lounge has plenty of Laurel & Hardy memorabilia.
