Situated a short walk from the railway station in the heart of Harlington, this low-beamed watch-your-head traditional village pub was first licensed in 1790. Up to six varying ales are available, often from Tring, Wye Valley, Theakston’s and Oakham. The pub offers a good menu and is a popular stop-off for country walkers.

Historic Interest

The first recognised English National Steeplechase took place on Monday 8 March 1830 started immediately in front of the pub
