A traditional, half-timbered, Grade II listed pub which is a short walk from the railway station. The pub dates back to at least 1785 and has two bars, both featuring sports TVs. There is an attractive award-winning garden famous for its roses. Four changing beers usually include Woodforde’s, Gale’s, Harvey’s and Timothy Taylor’s. Quiz night every Wednesday.
