A traditional free of tie community pub close to the western end of Bristol Harbour. Two small rooms are furnished with dark wood seating, with a real fire in the front room and a television in each for showing occasional sports. Four cask ales are generally available, from a range of local and regional breweries, usually including a dark beer. There is a collection of board games in the back room, and the pub hosts occasional poetry and/or music events. Bar snacks include home-made rolls, pork pies and pasties and there is a 'Thirsty Thursday' price promotion. There is a small free car park 50 metres behind the pub and nearby bus stops serve a number of routes.
