Built in the 1930s to carry grain across the Severn Estuary, this moored barge was converted into a floating pub in 2007 by local brewery Bristol Beer Factory. The indoor deck, accessed via a flight of steps from the harbourside walkway, houses the bar and main seating area, and an upper deck serves as the 'garden', with shaded and unshaded seating. Both offer great views of the SS Great Britain and the activity on the harbour. A space on the lower deck serves as a function room and hosts a variety of art, music and comedy events. Four cask ales are served, three from Bristol Beer Factory and one guest, usually from another local brewery. The menu offers a range of pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan options, with various 'food night' deals on offer throughout the week. Payment is by card only. Dogs are welcome and children until 9.30pm.
