The 'Ola' is a good solid traditional looking building over looking the harbour. Built on the site of `The Inns of Sinclair` that dated back to the 14th century.
There is a traditional public bar entered directly from the street, and a larger, recently refurbished lounge to the rear, the Back Bar, which serves food. Both have a friendly welcoming atmosphere serving beer from the local Swannay Brewery.
An extensive range of whiskies is stocked and there are music sessions on Sundays from 4pm, and these can be lively during the summer months.
All the major attractions of Kirkwall are a short walk away.
