Situated in the beautiful village of Craigellachie, the impressive Victorian building boasts picturesque views across the forests and mountains, and is situated next to the Fiddich and Spey rivers.
The bar, formerly the Copper Dog, now renamed the Spey Inn, is underneath the hotel and while mostly laid out for meals it has a cosy, dimly lit area dedicated to drinking and fishing oriented decorations including maps and fly displays.
There are over 800 whiskies in the Quaich Bar, with tasting sessions available.
Can be very busy, especially during whisky festivals. If you wish to eat there, booking is recommended.
