Under-threat club reopens as community hub

One of Catford’s most cherished landmarks has reopened its doors – not just as a pub, but as a place for people to come together. Located on the site of the former Catford Constitutional Club, parts of which date back to the 1700s, the building was scheduled for demolition and conversion into flats. Catford House is being run by Greenwich Cooperative Development Agency (GCDA), a local social enterprise with more than 40 years’ experience creating community-led projects across South-East London.
