Superb traditional, family run, 1746 Inn with an emphasis on real ale, which is served in oversized lined glasses. The pub hosts regular music and folk nights. The bar has a real cosy feel and is divided by a central staircase - energetic dogs often greet the visitor here. The miners have long gone but this pub is a superb legacy that lives on in this popular hamlet.
