Closed in 2012 and changed to residential.

A superb classic traditional country pub in a lovely tranquil rural setting. Superbly kept real ales, real fires and a selection of excellent home cooked food plus traditional pub games including bar billards all contribute to the atmosphere. Dave the cat, surely a candidate for pub cat of the year, is greeted personally by regulars. A collection of fascinating photographs tells the tale of the pub over the last 100 years.
