Traditional railway hotel with bars and restaurant.

Beside Carnoustie railway station on the East Coast Main Line, the Station Hotel offers comfortable accommodation, a warm welcome and excellent pub food, including the famed steak pie and classic chicken curry. Since April 2018 the present owners Bryan and Arlene have been providing one regular cask ale plus two changing guest beers in both the public and lounge bars. The elusive Inveralmond Thrappledouser made a welcome appearance in Summer 2025.

Opening times shown are for the public bar; food times are for the lounge. The hotel is just a short walk from the town's famous golf links, a venue for the Open Championship.
