This pub has a large open plan bar and lounge / function area where live music features most Saturdays. A variety of games and sports teams operate from this pub including football, pool and dominoes. Only a ten minute walk from championship golf links. Beer garden was enhanced during the pandemic.

Real ale made a welcome return in May 2025, showcasing local MòR Beers from two handpulls.
