A warm, welcoming pub dating from 1845. As the name implies it is close to a bridge crossing the River Barle upstream from its confluence with the River Exe. Situated in the delightful small town of Dulverton, the pub has a cosy single-room bar with a wood-burning stove and an extended restaurant area. There is usually at least two cask ales from St Austell and Exmoor. Check on the website for restricted opening hours in Winter.
