Family-run country pub and restaurant with a tidy red brick exterior, and a brightly contemporary interior. Despite its isolated location, the place is often busy due to its emphasis on fine dining in the dedicated restaurant. The bar features a variety of comfortable seating, and looks out onto a beer terrace and children's play area. The house Nelson Best Bitter is of unstated origin, along with two or three guest beers, from a mix of national and small breweries.
