A historic inn set in the middle of a pretty seaside village. Refurbished during the Covid lockdown period, this surprisingly spacious pub consists of three large rooms all done out in a modern and airy style with a rustic nautical theme. There is the main front bar to the right on entry, the main restaurant alongside and another bar/restaurant at the rear. There is also outside seating at the front and side. The pub is popular with walkers and beach goers all year round and holiday makers from the many nearby caravan and camp sites in season. A range of meals are available in all rooms. Dogs are allowed in the front and rear bar areas only.
Two cask ales are normally available all year, with up to five in holiday season. There are three handpumps in both of the bars, usually offering local ales from the Evan Evans and Gower Brewery ranges. Whilst the front restaurant has a separate set, which sometimes varies.
Parking: No parking available either at or by the pub, it is recommended to use the large council pay and display car park about 200 metres away, accessed from the beach front roundabout, to which the pub has a key if you wish to stay after the car park closes.
