Bought a few years ago by S A Brains and underwent a pleasant but rather characterless modernisation. Emphasis is on food. Rev James the only real ale currently offered. Real ale does not seem a priority of the management.

Historic Interest

The Heart of Wales railway runs beneath in a tunnel built in 1839 to avoid demolishing the Inn.
