This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Originally the Riverside Pub, this large establishment on the edge of the town centre, has undergone a major refurbishment and conversion to a steak restaurant called "Seagers @ No1 High Street", which opened in Autumn 2018.

Although there is an impressive cocktail bar in the front of the entrance area, they normally can only serve pre-booked restaurant guests who are eating, rather than those just wanting a drink!
