New telephone number, pool (game), family quiz nights added to this entry - information from the website and Facebook page. The hours were taken from the website on 28 September 2022. Branded as Greene King Pub & Kitchen (no longer branded as a Hungry Horse).

South Oxfordshire Branch of CAMRA will endeavour to update the other information about this pub by the end of October 2022.

Regrettably affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bell has been closed since 23 March 2020. Has been boarded for security reasons. No date for reopening as at 15 October 2021, 2 January 2022 nor 9 August 2022. Other Hungry Horse pubs in Oxfordshire outside of the area covered by the South Oxfordshire Branch of CAMRA are open.

Planning permission granted on 14 April 2022 for "New entrance archway/new path, single storey rear extension, extended smoking shelter, new jumbrella, internal alterations & external redecorations.".
