Substantially refurbished in 2026, the White Hart Tap is a traditional single-bar pub with a large, pleasant garden and sheltered smoking area outside. It is a well-known pub to CAMRA members having once appeared on the cover of the Good Beer Guide. These days, up to four cask beers are offered including two that rotate. Food is usually served but is temporarily unavailable at the moment due to works taking place in the kitchen. There is a large public car park opposite.
