The pub is located in the picturesque and historic village of Milton Abbas with identical thatched cottages and a unique history. It is believed to be the first 'planned village' in England. The pub has been recently updated while retaining many of the original features and a large fireplace. There are regular events held - charity quizzes and racing evenings as well as live music including open mic nights. Major sporting events are shown on TV.
