Closure of this village asset resulted in the community raising the funds to buy, refurbish and reopen the pub in 1923 and it is now run by volunteers. The pub name gives reference to the six agricultural labourers who were convicted in 1834 of swearing a secret oath as members of a trade union. Locally sourced food is available and has proved very popular. Two ever changing real ales are served usually from the local area.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
