Originally built to house one of the earliest electricity plants in Dorset. This provided power to Lord Portman's mansion (now Bryanston School), until mains electricity arrived and it was converted to a club for workers on the estate and then the wider community. It’s fully accessible and expansive with a lounge area and good sized bar, event space with its own beer garden, games area, skittle alleys and a snooker room. There’s another beer garden which includes a covered patio.
