This traditional 19th-century pub has recently been acquired by locals all living on the same street, creating a community pub. It has undergone a complete refurbishment from pub through to kitchen. There is a dartboard and pool table, TVs for sporting events, cosy open fires for the winter months, and a garden for the warmer weather. Event evenings include music and quiz nights. Plans are underway for food service.
