A traditional Grade II listed pub on the High Street, about half a mile from the seafront and near the terminus of the Swanage Steam Railway. There are two bars with stone floors and log fires. The pub serves three well-kept ales. It is renowned for its quality food, and booking for tables is essential (phone reservations only). The suntrap garden catches the evening sunshine.
