Charming, historic pub, with restaurant extension, in a conservation area of the village with the River Bourne flowing past in winter. The window in the larger bar is reputed to come from a galleon. Celebrating 25 years at the pub, the landlord is as enthusiastic and proud of his high quality food as he is of his ales. Four beers change weekly and include local and occasionally those from further afield. The pub welcomes walkers and dogs. Opens Sunday evenings only on bank holiday weekends in summer.
