Large modern estate pub overlooking a large green area, originally named the Alpine in recognition of the building's resemblance to an alpine chalet. Closed in February 2019, completely refurbished and renamed as the Mill Dam in recognition of the nearby Greasbrough Dams. Reopened in late April 2019 and tastefully decorated, it is still very much a local's pub. p to three real ales are usually available, sourced from the local and regional breweries. Prices are very reasonable. Opens from 11am daily. Handy for the dams and walks to the Wentworth estate,
