This Pub is Closed Long Term
At the main cross roads in Wargrave, much of the pub dates back to the 16th century. Lounge/Manor Bar has a seasonal stove coal fire which creates a cosy relaxed atmosphere. The Public/Village Bar is a more lively room with a traditional jukebox, 2 games machines and a dart board. The public bar can be booked - usually no charge. Outside toilets, a rarity these days. Small car park accessed from School Lane.
Two bars, dining room and outside toilets - little changed in 38 years. Bar was two rooms and has a new brick bar and panelling. Lounge has 1950s counter but new shelves.
