This Pub is Permanently Closed

This estate pub, built on a large corner site by Courage in 1937, towards the end a free house, but did not sell real ale. Became run down and put up for sale. Bought by development company. Demolished September 2015. Approval for 3 houses given but not yet built (Jan 2022).
