A friendly and welcoming traditional single-bar corner local with a variety of changing ales from the smaller breweries, including Chin On Bar, a house beer brewed by Mr Winter's and named after a trick the pub dog Dude does, jumping on a bar stool and putting his chin on the bar.
The pub has a clean and bright bar area which gives a spacious feel, plus a pleasant and quiet enclosed courtyard garden area at the rear.
Previously a Bateman's pub, the Leopard was bought and completely refurnished in 2014. The bar was extended and moved, and underfloor heating and a new cellar added, and the range of beers expanded greatly, to include up to six cask ales and the better-quality lagers. All cask ales and craft kegs are available in 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and pint measures.
