Born on 2nd September 2005, The Good Ship is a bar, pub, club and music venue all rolled into one. Run by CAMRA member John McCooke, this is not an old style traditional pub - it's a more modern environment offering beer in a music and late night venue. Used to sell cask beer but now there is a keg Wild River which is a reasonable substitute when our reviewer goes to comedy nights on Mondays (which he highly recommends). There can be an entry charge - check the web site and also for opening times, the opening time can vary depending on what's on.
