A 13th Century thatched inn, nestled at the top of the Welcombe Valley and just a mile from the sea near the Cornish border. Quality ales, from nearby Forge and other local breweries, good ciders and a range of excellent, locally sourced food can all be enjoyed here in a most welcoming atmoshere. Outside there is a pleasant garden and a separate function room. An outstanding beer and music festival is held in July.
