This family run village local is situated in a picturesque village with several 'chocolate box' cottages. Originally dating from the early 18th-century and having had a number of interesting former uses, it became a pub in the early 1970S. The bar area has a pool table at the far end, while there is a cosy restaurant offset near the entrance. Outside there are wooden benches and tables for eating and drinking alfresco. The Tarka Trail, convenient for walkers and cyclists, is one mile away.
