Opposite to the long defunct Forden railway station which was shut by Beeching in the 1960's. The Railway is a popular destination pub with customers flocking in from far and wide. There is smart accommodation available for those who want to stop here longer. A static caravan park is adjacent to the pub. Recently [2015] bought by a local family, the pub has been extensively refurbished throughout with the bar relocated into a former private room which is now seen on the left as you enter. The ex bar area to the right has become a smart restaurant. Well worth a diversion for walkers as only half a mile from the Offa's Dyke trail.
