This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed 13/1/2023, future uncertain as site is fenced off, and seemingly building work is being undertaken. Allegedly the premises has been bought by the former licensee. and it is now being used as a private residence. No planning application for this change of use has been found.

History: Large two-room, keg-only estate pub. Formerly part of the Burtonwood estate. Opened 1961 new-build Wilsons Brewery house.
