This Pub is Closed Long Term

Pub to be retained but new housing extension granted for above and to rear.

A large Victorian pub still retaining a green tiled exterior and many of its original internal fittings. Bare floorboards feature with posters and pictures about the local history and pubs that are now closed around the walls. The interior is a reflection of the green colour scheme outside with a sophisticated grey wall along with copper lights and beer pumps. The high ceiling gives it an airy feel. The well kept beer is served from a large 'J' shaped bar to the mostly local clientele. Modern additions include a games machine, juke box and pool table.
