Quite simply a good old fashioned pub on a fairly quiet street corner in the south end of town. At the front of the building there is a main bar serving two cask ales. To the right there is a second room, newly decorated.

Around the rear of the bar you will find a fairly spacious public bar complete with pool table. The pub takes part in a variety of game leagues.
