Two-roomed street-corner community pub set in area of dense terraced housing. The attractive exterior incorporates the building date 1900. It was recently refurbished to good effect to give smart lounge to left, equally smart tap room to right (with pool table), whilst beyond that is a beer yard reached via the quaintly named "Pub Alley". Two real ciders are regularly available which rotate from time to time. A function room is available free of charge, and the barn at the rear can be hired out too.
