The pub consists of lounge bar/dining room linked by an arched walkthrough to a public bar/games room with pool table and darts board. Outside are a block paved patio area furnished with picnic tables and a children’s play area. Everards sold the pub to PubCo Hawthorn Leisure in 2021.

Historic Interest

Built to replace a much older inn which was demolished as part of a road widening scheme. The previous pub was an early Victorian former farmhouse. Alfred and Florence Crowhurst were landlords until Alfred's death in 1926, after which their son Fred ran it with his mum until 1933 when she retired to be succeeded by Fred's wife. In recognition of the length of time it had been under the Crowhurst's tenancy, the pub was renamed The Crows Nest during the early 1960s. Fred Crowhurst died in 1969.
