Two-roomed Victorian pub with a great atmosphere near Leeds market and offering the
city centre's widest cask ale choice with 15 beers to choose from, usually including
a gluten free option. Live music is played most nights in one room. Many
original features remain including some 200 years old bare floorboards. The gentleman's toilets feature traditional porcelain units from J Duckett and Son Ltd of Burnley. The beer garden out the back is well looked after and not to be missed in the warmer weather. Quality pork pies are available. This a welcoming venue whether you are alone, with friends or with your dog.
