Dating from 1411, open throughout the week and serving food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) all sessions, except Sunday evening.

The spacious lounge bar features modern leather sofas and tables, and the cosy rear room has a log burning fire. There is a pool and darts room, and at the front is a busy AA Rosette Award restaurant. Two changing local real ales are on the bar.

The pub offers accommodation, and access to the car park is from the side, in Bliss Gate Road.
