The New Inn has stood at the entrance to Mill Road since 1744, and is an ancient and largely unspoilt country pub with flagstone floor and huge fireplace. Noted for seafood and a popular choice for many residents as well as holidaymakers and seafarers from the picturesque quay on Shalfleet Lake. Located on coastal path. Tables in decked area outside. Parking Limited.

Historic Interest

Built 1744 when church hall burned down. 18th and 20th century alterations. Grade II Listed. Historic England list entry 1219658
