Large village pub with a good local following. Being a free house you can never be sure what you will find next and an Autumn mini festival proves a hit with the locals. Homely bar with sumptuous armchairs arranged in family groups. No pub car park but over the road is a free car park within yards of the pub. Always willing to try something different the village Post Office is at one end of the lounge. Historical interest linked with Marconi (wireless communication) when he enlisted the services of the then postmaster a Mr Garlic to use his morse skills to send the first message across the seas.
