This Pub is Permanently Closed

Delightful back street local which is a few minutes walk from the centre of Newport.   Formerly it was on the outskirts of Newport when Cross Lane was a narrow country byway, lined with terraced cottages.  The pub now stands alone among less attractive modern housing, yet still retains the atmosphere of a country local.
