Hotel and Restaurant.

It is worth diverting off the A9 to Dornoch Castle Hotel just to marvel at the interior of the Hotel parts of which date back to 1577, and since June 2000 under the ownership of the Thompson family. Other than the restaurant, there is a massive collection of 300 single malt whiskies available. Local attractions include the 13th-century cathedral opposite, golf course and beaches.
