Dornach Bridge Inn was renamed Meikle Ferry Station around 2019. The following description dates from 2015:

Small family-run inn situated on the A9 two miles north of Tain, by the Dornoch Bridge, five minutes from the ever popular Glenmorangie Distillery and a short drive from the famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course.

The Dornoch Bridge Inn does not serve real ale currently but as a licensed premise in the Highlands & Western Isles Branch Area is included for completeness.

Historic Interest

'Meikle Ferry Station' is a former railway station that was only open for only 5 years between 1864 & 1869!
