Canal-side pub with a modern light and trendy feel to it which is popular with drinkers and diners, offering friendly and comfortable surroundings for good value meals and regular guest ales.

It has one long room with a separate restaurant at one end, and the bar at the other.

Tables and chairs outside to the front of the pub and two doors from the bar areas and dining into the beer garden, toilets, and a small shop.

Adjacent there is a campsite and plenty of parking space. The canal-side beer garden is perfect for watching summer sunsets.

The hair salon, nail bar and launderette are mainly for the canal trade and open to all.

Historic Interest

Formerly a Watney's pub and renamed from the George & Dragon in the summer of 1996.
