Family run pub refitted in contemporary style, the large single bar in this 17th century building has original timbers, flagstone floor and feels very cosy with its real fire, and two log burners. The bar and the separate restaurant offer a range of home prepared food from bar snacks to a full evening menu, including regular seasonal specials and a roast on Sundays. In the mid-80s this was the first home of the Wye Valley Brewery, whose beers still feature.
