A large, country house hotel set in extensive, wooded grounds. The many facilities include putting green, tennis courts, croquet lawn, leisure complex and swimming pool, and there are riding stables nearby. Both bar and restaurant are open to non-residents; the restaurant is closed on Monday lunchtimes. The bar area has comfortable seats and is decorated with antique pictures. It offers pub-style cooked food when the restaurant is open, and sandwiches at other times. There is also a lounge area with comfortable sofas, and seating outside on the front lawn.
